Yes. Your partner, child or housemate can usually accept your parcel. Extra rules apply to parcels with a PIN code or age check.
Parcel with a PIN code (OTP)
You always receive the PIN code by email and text message. The driver only hands over the parcel once the PIN code has been entered.
- Forward the email or text message with the PIN code to the person accepting the parcel, for example a housemate or neighbour.
- Ask them to give the PIN code to the driver at the door. Giving it by phone is not possible.
We cannot resend or view the PIN code. So keep the email or text message safe. Lost it? The driver can resend the PIN code to you at the door.
Is your email address or phone number incorrect? Contact the webshop. They can update it.
Parcel with an age check (18+)
Does your parcel contain alcohol or another 18+ product? Then the person who answers the door must:
- be at least 18, and
- show valid ID.
Does a minor answer the door? Then the driver will not hand over the parcel, not even with parental permission.
