Every week Trunkrs automatically calculates a forecast of your number of shipments. You check it in the Shipping Portal under Forecast and only adjust the days that differ, for example because of a promotion, launch or temporary closure. We plan trucks and drivers based on your forecast.
Checking takes about two minutes a week; you no longer need to upload a file.
- Today and tomorrow: locked. Large change at short notice? Email collectie@trunkrs.nl and copy in your Customer Success Manager.
- Next 7 days: check and adjust where needed. We cannot always fully process changes this close to delivery.
- Days 8 to 21: a rough estimate is enough.
- Public holidays are already marked as closed in your forecast.
Checking and submitting your forecast
- Log in to the Shipping Portal and click Forecast. You see your actual shipments, the Trunkrs forecast and your own forecast.
- Click Review forecast at the top right. You see the current week and the two weeks after it. Days with a padlock are locked: days that have passed, today and tomorrow.
- Adjust the number with + or −, or type a new number. The difference from the Trunkrs forecast is shown in the Diff column.
- Does your number differ considerably from the Trunkrs forecast (more than 10%, or more than 50 shipments for small volumes)? Then the Why are you changing it? window opens. Choose a reason, such as a promotion, a new launch or a closure. A short note is required for Structural volume change and Something else. Your Customer Success Manager sees your reason. If your forecast differs by more than 20%, we may contact you.
- Click Submit forecast at the bottom and confirm any warning. You see the message Forecast submitted.
Your changes are only saved once you click Submit forecast. Days you don't change automatically keep the Trunkrs forecast.
Quickly adjusting one day
- Click Quick edit next to the chart and click the day.
- Adjust the number with + or −, or type a new number.
- Click Save, choose a reason if asked, and confirm.
My weekly grade
Under Weekly grades you see a grade from 0 to 10 for each week: on how many days your forecast was within the allowed deviation. Click View for the overview per day.
