Yes, usually. If you are not at home, the driver will try to hand your parcel to the neighbours. In Track & Trace you can set your preferred neighbours in advance.
How to set your preferred neighbours
- Open Track & Trace using the link in your email.
- Click Neighbours.
- Select up to 3 favourite neighbours. We will try them first.
- Save your preference.
Has your parcel been left with the neighbours? Track & Trace shows you which house number (see Which neighbours received my parcel?).
When is this not possible?
The driver will not take your parcel to the neighbours if it has:
- An age check (18+): the driver checks the ID of whoever answers the door.
- A PIN code (OTP): the parcel is only handed to someone who has the PIN code (see Can someone else accept my parcel?).
- The webshop has turned off delivery to neighbours.
If you are not at home, the driver will try again the next working day. After 2 failed attempts, the parcel goes back to the webshop.
